Welcome to App My Heart! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and services. By using App My Heart, you agree to these Terms.

App My Heart is a family wellness application that allows users to:

• Share heart rate and wellness status with connected family members and friends
• Receive notifications about loved ones' health patterns
• Send emotional gestures (heart taps, hugs, etc.) to connections
• View AI-generated health insights and summaries
• Connect with wearable devices for automatic health data sync

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

4. Health Data and Permissions

• You control which health data sources are connected to the app
• You control who can see your health information
• You can revoke data access at any time through device settings
• We process health data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Use automated systems to access the app without permission
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Connections and Consent

• You may only connect with people who have consented to share data with you
• Both parties must accept a connection request for data sharing to occur
• Either party can disconnect at any time, immediately stopping data sharing
• You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from family members

7. Intellectual Property

• App My Heart and its content are protected by copyright and trademark laws
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our app or content without permission
• You retain ownership of your personal data and health information

8. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with third-party services including:

• Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect
• Wearable device APIs (Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung, etc.)
• Firebase for authentication and data storage
• OpenAI for AI-powered insights

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Health data accuracy depends on your wearable devices and health platforms
• AI insights are informational only and not medical advice
• We are not responsible for actions taken based on app information
• Notification delivery depends on device settings and network conditions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any)
• We are not liable for any health decisions made based on app data
• We are not liable for third-party service failures

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless App My Heart, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations
• Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately
• You may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and App My Heart regarding use of the app.
